Raffles City Shopping Centre is located right in the heart of Singapore above the Cityhall MRT and is connected to Swissotel The Stamford and The Fairmont Singapore. With many tourist spots within walking distance or a train stop away, this makes Raffles City Shopping Centre perhaps the most convenient shopping mall in Singapore especially when you pressed for time.
The great thing about shopping in Singapore is that you get to experience shops from all over the world, sometimes right on the same floor. At Raffles City Shopping Centre, my favorites are Dorothy Perkins, Warehouse, Kate Spade, Marks and Spencer, Mango, and Joop (Singapore ladies fashion label).
It's not all about shopping, Raffles City is also a great place to pick up yummy snacks at Marks and Spencer and the supermarket located at the basement called Raffles City Market Place, or the many little take outs also located at the basement.
It also happens to be one of my to-go-to mall in Singapore when I am in need of a little of shopping, and to get a break from the routine work week. To stop and enjoy the brightness of colors and goods on display is a definite sensory treat. Raffles City Shopping Centre has done an internal facelift in recent years, making the shopping experience more appealing with the second floor concentrating on fashion and basement focused on little food eateries.

One of my favorite department store Robinsons is located here, carrying a more budget friendly range compared to the flagship store at Orchard Road. You can find local Singapore bag brands at affordable prices like Perllini, also a staple in most department stores.

Of all the gift stores in Singapore, NBC Stationery and Gifts located at the basement of Raffles City Shopping Centre is my favorite, with many of their items coming from Japan. The items don't come cheap, but is a great place to buy cute gifts and stationery for a special friend or family.
